We repair all fretted instruments. All instruments brought for repair must be in a case or padded gig bag. All work is done on a drop off- pick up basis. (Set ups can usually be done fairly quickly, if I’m available.) Strings are not included in the price. I use D’addario strings here at the shop and will have a limited selection of them available, otherwise please bring a fresh set of your brand and gauge with you.

Set Ups

Most fixed bridge instruments-$40
Standard tremolos- $50
Fulcrum tremolo ( Floyd Rose etc.)- $70

All set ups include; truss rod, nut and intonation adjustment (if applicable), adjust action, cleaning and polishing frets and fretboard, tightening loose hardware, spraying and cleaning of electronics, pickup height adjustment, cleaning instrument.
While I am very happy to set your instrument up to factory specs, which a vast majority of players find very agreeable, for no extra charge I would even happier to see if I can tailor a set up for you and a particular instrument. Just ask.

Fret Work

Level, crown and polish- $100
Partial re-frets- $80 & up
Full re-fret- $225 & up
Set up included with all fretwork

Electronic Repairs

Replace pickup- $30 & up + pickup
Repairs: e.g. pot/jack replacements, full rewires, custom wiring: $20 and up

Structural

Headstock Repairs: $50 and up depending on severity of break
Neck re-set: $75 and up depending on type of joint and other issues. includes set up.
Acoustic crack repairs: $40 and up depending on location and length
Bridge re-glue: $60 & up
Replace nut -$50- $80 depending on instrument and material chosen. Includes set up.
Replace saddle-$50. Includes set up.
All nuts and saddles are hand made by me.

Finish Repairs

$75 and up
Most finish repairs will take about 14 weeks to complete. The chemical processes involved work on their own schedule. Proper finishing cannot be rushed.
